Cerakote FX Mardi Gras features a bold, color-shifting finish that captures the true spirit of Mardi Gras with a vibrant purple-green metallic shimmer that dances in the light. Illustration S-Panel shows Blaze over H-146 Graphite Black.
Cerakote FX takes custom coatings to a new level. Cerakote FX is an additive specifically designed and tested for mixing with our H-series clear coats (H-300 and H-301). It is sprayed over a Cerakote base clear coat primer, creating a new gloss and look that ranges from subtle to extravagant depending on the combination.
Cerakote FX is available in two sizes: 4g and 32g. For optimal results, we recommend a mixing ratio of 1g FX to approximately 30 ml Cerakote Clear (H-300 or H-301).
Example:
- 4g per 1 Tester (118ml / 4oz)
- 32g per 1 Quart (946ml / 32oz)
Cerakote FX is designed for use with H-series clear coats, which are then sprayed over a Cerakote base clear coat primer.
NOTE: Cerakote FX is applied wet-on-wet. Your item goes into the oven only after the FX coating is applied.
The materials for Cerakote FX were specially selected for their outstanding properties, including corrosion and weather resistance, scratch, mar, and impact resistance, as well as adhesion within the Cerakote system. They meet the strict criteria required to carry the Cerakote brand name.
